This is the HTC One M9 so last year we had the HTC One M8 and it was a really great built phone with some great fast software and a late down camera and this year we have an M9 Which is a really nice boat phone. Great fast software and a late down camera here is a little background I have been using it as my daily driver since the Mobile World Congress and there will still be a little bit of this kind of hassle Explain the difference between this one and the M8 without looking at the front because the reason is that most of the changes with the M9 are inward and for HTC has told you thousands of times that people are talking about this phone. A little toss-up if you like it or not though it's definitely still a slippery phone though be warned I haven't installed it on my skin yet I'm pretty sure I'll just I'm going to finish the job Make sure I've never dropped it HTC has also extended the power button from the top right hand to the right hand of the phone which is supposed to be easier to reach your thumb but unfortunately where The volume buttons are already there. Put the power button under them and I think it was a bad move. The power button is very low now and to this day I have not got used to it and even if it is a sieve and click and Separate from the rest, I constantly accidentally press the volume button all the time as they should, move the volume button to the left and hold the power button in place. The good thing is you still have to double-tap to wake up on the screen and if you want you can also put the asleep toggle in the software buttons but yes the overall build quality and button space was not broken so They did not need to reconsider. Another thing that wasn't broken to fix was the display and the One M8 had an excellent 1080p display on any smartphone last year and we've got more quad h this year from basically every manufacturer. Looking at the display but HTC sticks with them Reliable 1080p and the pixels in this LCD as much as I like it is still very good It's very bright, has great color viewing angles and everything, and since it still has a 5-inch display with a good pixel density, you can't see any of the pixels from a normal viewing distance. Will come and this amazing display will be combined with the best. The speakers in any smartphone make for an amazing media experience whether you're playing a game or watching YouTube videos or whatever you're making a booming sound is king and nowhere near HTC. Has added this Dolby Audio to the M9 which is basically just a software toggling between two units of music mode and theater mode music mode is best for most things I leave it at that Not distorted at all. It's faster and faster and I like that the style of the theater is interesting because it evaluates the sound effects a bit so that it can be cool for videos or if you are watching a movie but it is definitely worth it. Does not break the development, does not break the display, certainly does not break the speaker and HTC has kept it nice and clean on this phone. This phone is built on top of Android 5.0 - not sure when it's going to get the 5.1 updates but I'd like to keep an eye on it but now it's really one of my favorite Android skins One that is out there I still prefer stock Android but I didn't like the HTC Sense at all, just like the TouchWays, and still exists. You know a couple of parts of it. I don't like the keyboard. Hate the board and the quick settings are still very ugly to me. I don't know why I'm insisting on putting every little part of Android on the skin and it looks like the quick settings like I'm gone. They become ugly all the time but separate from such things. Know that Seam is really a clean shiny glimpse clean and in fact, still plugged into your social feed and keeps you up to date and this is the first HTC where I don't want to disable and eliminate blink right away bl Although you can totally and even talk of skins there is now a full theme engine built into the HTC Sense so if you really don't like the stock then there's a ton of skins and apply this effect Basically everything about software and UI. Like the launcher on the app and even the software buttons with quick settings all the colors and all the theme look will be changed and also the wallpaper and you can grab one of these pre-existing themes or you can create themes. Apps when I go to class and then when I come home and try to find me and watch YouTube you always know that even these suggested apps were not installed on my phone which is not about it Know but yes what is this just my second home screen went and I left in a way to do my job and I find out once in a while but if you hate me more than that you can easily You can remove it. Because it's just a widget so yes the software experience on an M9 here is a great performance which I talk about less and less in these reviews because now they keep performing well. The Snapdragon 810's huge three gigabytes is the power of this thing. It's basically a performance champ that you see me visiting. It died quickly but the battery life was much better. Now the biggest challenge for HTC now is when moving from the One M8 to the M9 was the part of the phone that made people consider breaking the camera. The biggest flaw of the HTC One M8 last year was its four-megapixel or ultra-pixel camera on the back. The big change was just like the M9 is a 20-megapixel camera so the ultra-pixels front-facing camera has moved closer and closer. The M9 has a slightly stretched 20-pixel camera on the back but still not that good and it's unfortunate because we all like to take pictures on our phones. Normally it's not a problem or anything but it's not particularly good so 20 megapixels is great and the images of everything are sharper which you have more detail than before but here the camera is more megapixels. It's a classic case that doesn't always get better. The real problem with images is the dynamic limit so you know how you usually tap on the viewfinder to set the brightness of your photo which changes the auto exposure that you tap on it This phone is nice and fast and it is taking pictures.
